NORMAN, Oklahoma – OU receiver Ryan Broyles was named a consensus All-American for the second straight year on Tuesday by the NCAA.

Broyles is one of only three players this season to record back-to-back consensus All-American honors.

His honor is the 75th time an Oklahoma player has been named a consensus All-American and the 23rd time under Bob Stoops.

Broyles was named a first team All-American by the Football Writers Association of America and the Walter Camp Foundation and a second team All-American by the Associated Press and The Sporting News.

He had 83 catches for 1,157 yards and 10 touchdowns before a torn ACL ended his season on Nov. 5 against Texas A&M.
