OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Oklahoma State Cowboys continue to roll this season and dominated the Baylor Bears 59-24 at home Saturday to stay unbeaten and lock up their No. 3 BCS ranking.
OSU racked up a whopping 601 yards offensively, including 274 yards through the air and 327 yards on the ground en route to eight touchdowns. Joseph Randle rushed for 152 yards and four touchdowns on just 14 carries, while Justin Blackmon amassed 172 yards and two scores on 13 grabs. Brandon Weeden kept pace, with 274 passing yards and three scores on 24 completions.
The Cowboys gave up a ton of yards against the Bears, a whopping 622 yards, but forced three turnovers and had two big goal line stands on the one-yard line. Additionally, OSU came up with six tackles for loss and two sacks in the win.
All-purpose kicker Quinn Sharp was lights-out yet again for the Cowboys, in every facet of the kicking game, averaging nearly 50 yards per punt and four of his 10 kickoffs went for touchbacks. The Cowboys did not have much of an opportunity to return kicks, but Justin Gilbert averaged more than 20 yards per return in the win.
