OKLAHOMA CITY -- Halloween creeps around corner and many people are ready to get a scare. But if you want something a little different than the typical haunted house, try this one. It's called the Terror Along 10th Street Haunted House.

In it's 7th year, the haunted house is gaining popularity because it offers a  haunted story to it's guests. When guests arrive, they enter an actual home located at 2005 N.W. 10th Street, just one block east of Penn Avenue in Oklahoma City.

When you enter, you will be taken on a guided tour of the home where you will be invited to participate in a horrific theatrical performance while learning the ghostly history behind the house of horrors.

Room by room you can see the story unfold. It's so unnerving, Harrah, the guide and owner of the home, says many people can't wait to leave.

"If you are not running in fear, you might be frozen in fright," said "Harrah" the tour guide. "Some people can't get through it. We have a lot of chickens in here and we have to throw them out."

Harrah said she can't promise you will get to leave, but she does say this: "They can expect a scary good time."

The Terror on 10th Street cost $6 per person to enter with all the proceeds going to area churches for their mission trips.

It's open Sunday night from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. and then every night from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. beginning Wednesday, October 26 through Halloween, Monday October 31.
