OKLAHOMA CITY -- Court documents reveal new information about what the wife of slain Nichols Hills Fire Chief Keith Bryan did just hours before her husband was shot in their home.

Becky Bryan is charged with First-Degree murder. Court documents show that same day Becky Bryan made a call to her ex-lover.

We're told Becky Bryan's ex-lover is a realtor in southeast Oklahoma. But the court documents do not tell much about him or their relationship. Investigators only refer to the ex- lover as John, and say the relationship lasted for six months in 2010.

No one else is willing to talk. Instead, they are letting the document speak for itself.

In a search warrant returned on October 17, 2011, investigators said Becky Bryan called her lover, and said she still loves him. She said she would be inheriting a significant amount of money and wanted to buy a house near the ex-lover.

Court documents show Becky Bryan said it all in a voicemail three hours before Chief Keith Bryan was shot in his home in Mustang on September 20.

Two weeks after the murder, the OSBI reports investigators retrieved several items from the Bryan home, including two cell phones, passports, and receipts for burial plot information.

The search warrant indicates the ex-lover named John, although that is not his real name, ended the affair in January, 2010. The same month, Becky Bryan filed for divorce.

Court records show, Becky never acted on the divorce. The investigators did not indicate whether Keith Bryan knew about the affair.

Becky Bryan's brother David Reddick gave News 9 this statement. He said the new information doesn't change anything for the family.

He said: "... the release of the information... this A.M. of which we were already aware…does not change our desire for the absolute truth and nothing but the truth."

Investigators also searched Becky Bryan's work and retrieved emails and file folders.

Investigators report finding a gift card from a flower shop sent to Becky from Keith Bryan on Valentine's Day this year.

Becky Bryan's attorney Gary James called Tuesday's developments the "tip of the iceberg", but said he's confident he can defend the allegations.

Prosecutors won't comment on the case until it's over.
