TULSA, Oklahoma -- The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a crash victim on a Tulsa highway early Thursday morning tells them she was a kidnapping victim.

The crash happened before 5:30 a.m. on I-244 near Mingo.

The OHP says the woman was the only person at the crash scene but she says the crash came after a fight for her life.

She told troopers she was approached at the Hard Rock Casino in Catoosa by a man asking for a cigarette. The man then pushed her into her car and drove off.

While driving west on I-244, the woman claims she fought with her kidnapper causing the car to crash into a guardrail. She told the OHP, the man got out of the car and ran away.

The woman was taken to a Tulsa hospital. There is no word on her condition.

OHP is still investigating the incident.
