OKLAHOMA CITY – The remains of an Oklahoma soldier killed earlier this month in Afghanistan were returned to state soil Saturday.

The body of Sergeant Bret Isenhower of Seminole arrived Saturday morning at Will Rogers Air National Guard Base.

Isenhower died when his team was hit by small arms fire on September 9th.

Just a week before he died, Isenhower saved a fellow soldier's life who'd been shot.

His funeral is scheduled for Monday at Southern Hills Baptist Church in Oklahoma City at 10 a.m.
