MOORE, Oklahoma -- A four-hour standoff following a domestic dispute at a Moore home ended Saturday when police entered the house to find the subject dead.

Police responded to a call at 501 Kelsi Dr. at about 2:30 Saturday afternoon.  While police were speaking with the female, they heard a shot fired inside the home.

The woman came out of the house when the shot was fire and police set up a perimeter while police attempted to make contact with the man.

After four hours, police entered the home discovering that the man was dead in the attic, apparently from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Police said the medical examiner has been called to determine the exact cause of death.
