OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City police have arrested a woman after she hit a city worker with her car and fled the scene, according to the police department.
Police said at around 11 a.m. on Monday, 39-year-old Sean Stewart was setting up a traffic counter near Southwest 104th Street and May Avenue, when 20-year-old Tiffany Goad hit him, then ran a red light and took off.
According to police, two witnesses followed Goad to a nearby convenience store parking lot, and parked behind her to prevent her from fleeing. Goad refused to talk, or open her door or window at first. She was later taken into custody as police arrived.
Police said Stewart was transported to an area hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Goad is being held on several complaints including leaving scene of injury accident, driving left of center, and driving under the influence of drugs.
