OKLAHOMA CITY -- For the second time in less than a year, a coach at Western Heights High School has gotten into trouble for inappropriate relations with a student.

The latest incident involves the boys' basketball coach at Western Heights High School. Thirty-two-year-old Tyrone Lamont Nash was arrested on Friday and remains in the Oklahoma County jail on $150,000 bond.

The district confirms he was with the district for eight years.

Nash was arrested after a senior at the high school came forward and revealed the two had been having sex for the past year and a half. She claims most of the encounters happened at his house on N.W. 7th Street.

"Reportedly this happened numerous times," said Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow with the Oklahoma City Police Department. "It was at this time that the victim began to feel guilty and feel bad and wanted to come forward and make a police report."

"There were about three police men inside the door over there," said Clifford Nail, who lives across the street. "And the gentleman that lived there was on the ground and one of them was handcuffing him as he lay on the floor."

Back in December, police arrested the girls' softball coach at Western Heights High School. Forty-five-year-old Michael Gene Hestand is accused of secretly videotaping his players in their locker room while they were getting dressed and undressed. Police said they also found child porn on computers they seized at his house.

Nail said his daughter attends Western Heights and said more needs to be done to alert parents about these kinds of incidents.

"You need to keep an eye," Nail said. "You have to have some way of checking on them now."

The district did release a statement that they've taken every available step to safeguard the students and teachers of the district. The district also confirmed it does train its teachers multiple times a year about what constitutes proper and improper conduct with students.
