ST. LOUIS -- St. Louis Rams quarterback and former Oklahoma Sooner Sam Bradford left Sunday's NFL season opening game with an injury to a finger on this right hand.

According to ESPN, Bradford injured his right index finger as he threw a pass during the fourth quarter.

Shortly after that play Bradford was seen heading to the locker room holding his right hand.

ESPN reports his finger is not broken, but Coach Steve Spanguolo said Bradford's injury could be nerve related.

Bradford is one of five St. Louis players who left the Rams season opener against Philadelphia with injuries.

Running back Steven Jackson injured his leg on the Rams' first play. Receiver Danny Amendola left with a dislocated left elbow and right tackle Jason Smith also left the game injured and cornerback Ron Bartell left the game with a stinger.

Bradford went 17 for 30 for a total of 188 yards in the Rams' 31-13 loss to the Eagles.
