EDMOND, Oklahoma -- The City of Edmond has initiated a Code Red alert for residents located between Memorial and 15th and Post Road and I-35.
The warning is for residents to evacuate due to the wildfires moving northward from 122nd and Memorial. Edmond neighborhoods include Eagles Cove and South Lake.
Residents should proceed without delay to your planned evacuation point and notify responsible family members of your plan.
If residents do not have a pre-designated reunification point, a shelter has been established at the Forest Park Community Center. The address is 4203 N. Coltrane.
All roads in this area are currently open.
