OKLAHOMA CITY -- Five board game players at an Oklahoma City gaming shop set a new world record for the longest continuous session of board game play Sunday afternoon.

James Carrol, Kraig Deming, Josiah Hooten, Aaron Trent and Jared Wetsel began playing at 1 p.m. August 12 at the Little Shoppe of Games in Oklahoma City in hopes of breaking the old record of 48 hours of continuous play.

They have been playing "Last Night On Earth," a zombie game from Flying Frog Productions.

Actress Michelle Sanchez who plays Sally in the game, paid the record-setters a visit Sunday afternoon.

The players hoped to surpass the 50-hour mark to cement their record.
