OKC Firefighters Battle Overnight Downtown Fire

Oklahoma City Fire Department battled a stubborn fire in the downtown area for more than four hours early Saturday morning.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City Fire Department battled a stubborn fire in the downtown area for more than four hours early Saturday morning.

The fire started at around 1 a.m. in the 100 block of N.W. 7th St..Huge flames spread to all three stories of the building quickly.

The Fire Chief says no one was in the building at the time of the fire. However, one firefighter was taken to the hospital to be treated for heat exhaustion.
