Firefighters Extinguish SE OKC Fire

Firefighters lost little time in battling a blaze on the city's southeast side Sunday evening.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Passersby saved a man whose southeast Oklahoma City home was on fire Sunday evening.

Firefighters said they responded to a call of a fence on fire shortly after 6 p.m. a6 600 S.E. 32st and found the fire had spread onto the house.

Passersby who saw the fire alerted the resident of the home who was sleeping at the time.

The home, a carport, and at least one vehicle sustained major damage.

No injuries were reported.
