OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and the Logan County Sheriff's Office are hoping someone can help them identify a woman whose body was found floating in the Cimarron River.

A couple found the woman's body Saturday, May 28, near State Highway 74 bridge near Crescent. Investigators say they cannot rule out the possibility of foul play, so they are working the case as a homicide. They believe her body had been the water approximately four days.

An OSBI forensic artist created a sketch of the unidentified woman. She's described as white, and between the ages of 30 and 50. She stood between 5 feet 1 inch and 5 feet 5 inches tall. Her shoulder-length, mainly blonde hair was pulled back into a ponytail with an orange rubber band.

The Oklahoma Medical Examiner says the woman's tubes were tied, but they could not determine if she had given birth. The woman also appeared to have been a smoker at one time.

If you have any information about the woman's identity, call OSBI at (405) 879-2591.
