OKLAHOMA CITY -- An Oklahoma County judge again denied bail for Sgt. Maurice Martinez, the Oklahoma City police officer who's accused of molesting his adopted son.

Martinez appeared in court Monday morning.  He's charged with 37 counts, including the alleged sexual abuse of his adopted son and other foster children.

Martinez is also charged with possession of child pornography, threatening a witness, harboring a runaway child, and conspiracy.

Attorneys for Martinez argued the judge should grant bond because it could take up to a year for the case to go to trial.

"I got elderly parents. I got a bunch of stuff I got to do. Could you set a bond, please?" Martinez said during Tuesday's video arraignment.

But the judge denied bail Monday, saying Martinez poses a threat to the public and potential witnesses.
