BARTLESVILLE, Oklahoma -- A Bartlesville woman charged in the death of her ten-day-old infant pleaded not guilty at her arraignment before a Washington County District Court judge Wednesday morning.

In March a judge ordered Lyndsey Fiddler, 26, to stand trial on charges of first degree murder and child neglect in the death of Maggie Mae Trammel.

Trammel was found dead in a washing machine on November 4, 2010, in Fiddler's apartment in the 500 block of South Shawnee in Bartlesville.

According to court records, Fiddler told police she has no idea how the infant ended up in the washing machine.

Investigators say a drug screen administered by Bartlesville Police to Fiddler turned up positive for methamphetamine and other drugs.

Fiddler's next court date is July 27, 2011.
