OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City police said a man robbed the K-Nail Salon at NW 10th and Tulsa Avenue Thursday afternoon.

Oklahoma City Police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said the man was carrying a small hand gun.

The suspect was described as a white male wearing a blue hoodie, blue mask, and blue jeans. He was last seen running east from the store.

Earlier in the investigation police thought the suspect may have been tied to a string of recent robberies in and around the Oklahoma City metro.

However, after speaking with detectives on scene, they have ruled that out as a possibility.

Wardlow said they thought they had their suspect.

"The general description matches, including his age, height, and clothing," Wardlow said.

The other robberies Oklahoma City police thought this may have been tied to have happened in Bethany, Warr Acres, as well as three other in Oklahoma City on Tuesday morning.

In those robberies Wardlow said the suspect robbed a Starbucks located at 5920 S.W. 4th Street, a Subway at 6025 W. Reno Avenue, and another Subway at 23 N. Council Road.

In addition to finding the suspect who robbed the K-Nails Salon, police continue to seek the public's identifying the man involved in the recent robberies. In every case the suspect has driven away in a dark blue or black Honda Accord with a spoiler on the back.
