Tulsa Couple Charged In 2007 Death Of Infant Daughter

TULSA, Oklahoma – A Tulsa couple was charged Monday in the 2007 death of their two-month-old daughter.

Court records show 26-year-old Gregory O'Neal and 24-year-old Tamara Matthews are each charged with one count of child abuse murder or an alternative charge of permitting child abuse murder in the death of Tianna Marie O'Neal.

Investigators say the couple claimed the baby was having heart problems when they took her to the emergency room on May 17, 2007.

According to court records, the baby suffered a "skull fracture, subdural hemorrhages, extensive crushing injuries to the arm," and "bruising on the buttocks, shoulder and back."

The infant died a day later, on May 18, 2007.
