OKLAHOMA CITY -- A murder trial is set to begin Monday for a former NBA player's father.

Edgar Combs, 70, is charged in the shooting death of 55-year-old Virginia Moore.

Combs is the father of current Northwest Classen High School basketball coach Leroy Combs. Leroy Combs played with the Indiana Pacers, New Jersey Nets and L.A. Clippers in the 1980s.

Leroy Combs called 911 last February after he found Moore shot to death at the home where he and his father were living in the 300 block of N.W. 15th Street.

Edgar Combs was arrested and charged with first-degree murder.
