8-year-old Boy Accidentally Shot In Knee In Choctaw

CHOCTAW, Oklahoma – An 8-year-old boy was accidentally shot in the knee Friday afternoon.

Choctaw police said they received a call at about 2:00 p.m. of an accidental shooting in the 15000 block of S.E. 29th Street.

Police said the child was shot accidentally while his father was cleaning a gun.

The 8-year-old was transported to an area hospital in good condition. Police said no charges will be filed.
