OKLAHOMA CITY -- Wednesday night the chance for winter precipitation will increase.

Wednesday night northern Oklahoma could have snow with a chance for a winter mix in central Oklahoma and rain in southern Oklahoma.

Thursday there is a chance for precipitation to change over to snow across the state. The highest accumulations will be in northern Oklahoma with less than an inch expected in central and southern Oklahoma. To add on to that, wind chills will be frigid Thursday with temperatures staying in the 20s and winds howling from the north at 15 to 30 mph.

Thursday night lows will get down into the teens, but highs will rebound into the upper 30s Friday under partly cloudy skies.
