OKC Police Seek Public's Help Solving New Year's Eve Fatal Hit-And-Run

Oklahoma City police are asking for the public's help in solving a fatal hit-and-run case that took place New Year's Eve.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City police are asking for the public's help in solving a fatal hit-and-run case that took place New Year's Eve.

According to police, 51-year-old Benjamin Griswold was walking across May Avenue just after 6 p.m. on New Year's Eve when he was hit by an oncoming vehicle. The vehicle fled the scene.

Griswold was taken to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Police said investigator describe the suspected vehicle as green with possible front end damage.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 405-235-7300. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
