LUTHER, Oklahoma -- Oklahoma County Sheriff's deputies and Luther police rushed to free a girl Wednesday morning who was pinned by a car inside her family's garage.
Police said the 13-year-old had gone to the garage around 7 a.m. to warm up the family's car. The vehicle rolled forward and crashed through the closed garage door. The girl had opened the driver's side door, and when the vehicle smashed into the garage her leg was pinned between the car and items in the garage.
Deputies had to remove the garage door in order to get the girl out of the car. She only suffered minor bumps and bruises, but her parents took her to the family's doctor for a thorough check-up.
