Owner Said Frequent Customers Stole From Convenience Store

Oklahoma City police are investigating a $40,000 burglary at a convenience store that may have involved regular customers.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City police are investigating a $40,000 burglary at a convenience store that may have involved regular customers.

The owner of Happy Foods convenience store at Wilshire Boulevard and Broadway Extension found the door pried opened by a claw hammer and chisel Tuesday morning.

The robbers broke into the cash register and cash box and took off. The store owner said he recognized the burglars. He said they were a man and his wife who frequented the store.
