OKLAHOMA CITY -- Changes in the new year mean some Medicare patients qualify for free annual wellness visits, mammograms and other screenings.

Starting January 1, people who are on Medicare can qualify for the preventative health screenings.

The AARP is encouraging patients to go ahead and make an appointment with their primary care doctor.
