NORMAN, Oklahoma -- A Norman couple welcomed in a New Year's baby early Saturday morning.

Bailey Ruimveld was born at 3:10 a.m. at Norman Regional Hospital. She weighs 9.5 pounds and is 20 inches long. The staff at the hospital had the party supplies ready for Bailey, but she took her time. Bailey's mom was in labor for 15 hours.

"I originally didn't want to have any drugs having the baby until they said she was going to be over nine pounds. I said, 'no, we'll have something,'" Kelli Sam-Henry said.
