OKLAHOMA CITY -- Firefighters are working to determine the cause of a fire that sparked in the attic of a home in the 4300 block of N.W. 30th Street.
An Oklahoma City fire official said a city worker drove by the house around 10:30 Wednesday morning, noticed smoke coming from the home and called 911.
No one was in the home at the time of the fire, but firefighters did rescue two dogs from the burning house.
About half of the home sustained smoke and fire damage. Firefighters said the blaze caused about $25,000 worth of damage.
