OKLAHOMA CITY -- Mediflight workers flew in some early Christmas presents to OU Medical Center's Children's Hospital Tuesday.
For the third year in a row, some members of the Mediflight crew bought toys and passed them out at OU Children's Hospital to some of the kids that will be spending Christmas in the hospital.
Workers say it's all about giving back to the community.
"Most of the time we see a child is sick or injured. They are not doing very well. To see them in a different state of mind with a smile on their face really brings more joy to us and the look on their face I can't describe. I mean it's a very enjoyable look for sure," said Mediflight flight paramedic Parker Martin.
All the toys given to the kids were paid for by the Mediflight crews.
