Owner Of OKC Business Catches, Shoots Would-Be Burglar

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City police are investigating a shooting that took place on the city's southeast side.

Police said the owner of a business caught Buddy McGuire trying to break in to his vehicle outside. The owner reportedly tried to hold McGuire at gunpoint until officers arrived. When McGuire tried to run off, the owner shot him in the leg.

McGure is expected to be OK.

McGuire was booked into jail on an attempted burglary complaint.
