SAND SPRINGS, Oklahoma -- A Sand Springs minister is missing in what police say is an unusual disappearance.

David Wayne Emigh, 58, was last seen Wednesday morning when he left the Word of Life Fellowship Church in Sand Springs where he has been a pastor for over 30 years.

Emigh's wife said her husband left the church at about 11 a.m. saying he was going home to get a book, and he has not been heard from since, according to Sand Springs Assistant Chief of Police Mike Carter.

No signs of foul play have been found, though Carter said it is "completely unlike the victim to be absent from the church service that was held that evening."

Emigh is described as 5'10", 220 pounds with white hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, blue jeans and black Sketchers shoes. He was driving a black, 2008 four-door Ford pickup truck with Oklahoma tag E56304. The vehicle has 20-inch black rims, custom pin stripping and a loud exhaust.

The Sand Springs Police ask anyone with information about Emigh's whereabouts to call 918-245-8777.
