OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City police said they have taken DNA samples and interviewed numerous people in the homicide case of an Oklahoma City mother. But police have still not named any suspects or person's of interest in Julie Mitchell's murder.

Julie Mitchell was found beaten to death in early November inside her upscale northwest Oklahoma City home. The 34-year-old's body was reportedly found in a closet by her step-son.

Police say Mitchell's husband Teddy was in Arizona when she was killed. Teddy Mitchell is a well known bookie and gambler.

And in a bizarre twist, a mysterious person sent letters to the media claiming her death had something to do with Teddy's work.

Police said they may or may not analyze the DNA samples but will hold them as evidence throughout the investigation. If you have any information in this case, call the Homicide Tipline at (405) 297-1200.
