OKLAHOMA CITY – Tuesday will be cooler than Monday, but still seasonably warm with highs getting up into the mid 60s under partly cloudy skies.
Winds will be gusty out of the south, returning moisture to the state. Wednesday will be a relatively warm day ahead of a strong cold front. Late Wednesday the approaching cold front coupled with a dry line will bring a chance of thunderstorms in Oklahoma. There will be a slight chance for thunderstorms in central Oklahoma with chances increasing to the east.
Wednesday night the cold front pushes through Oklahoma, bringing very strong winds ahead and behind the front. Wind chills will also plummet down into the teens overnight as lows reach the upper 20s.
Thanksgiving will be exceptionally cold with highs only getting into the lower 40s and north winds 15-30 mph. Friday morning lows will be near 20 degrees for Black Friday with the weekend warming up near seasonable temperatures.
