Deadly Crash in Edmond Under Investigation

EDMOND, Oklahoma – A crash that killed a 25-year-old Edmond woman late Wednesday night is under investigation.

Edmond Police Department spokesperson Glynda Chu said Reagan Pennington of Edmond was driving north on Santa Fe when for an unknown reason she crossed the center line and ran into a utility pole.

The 25-year-old was taken to OU Medical Center where she was pronounced dead from injuries sustained during the crash around midnight.

Police said neither alcohol or cell phone use appear to have caused the crash, but the exact cause is still under investigation.
