NORMAN, Oklahoma – Norman police are investigating an armed robbery that took place early Monday at a Norman hotel.
According to police, an armed robbery of the Hampton Inn & Suites, 309 Norman Center Ct., was reported at about 1 a.m. Police said the hotel's clerk said an unknown male entered the business with a knife, jumped over the counter and took an unknown amount of cash from the register. The suspect then fled the business on foot in an easterly direction.
No injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as a white male, 5'10", weighing about 180-200 pounds, wearing glasses, blue shorts and a blue long-sleeve shirt. He covered his face and hair with a shirt only exposing his eyes.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police.
