OKLAHOMA CITY – Some well known NEWS 9 faces hit the green Monday for a good cause.

Alex Cameron, Kelly Ogle, Ed Murray and OKBlitz.com's Toby Rowland all teed off at the Bill Teegins Golf Championship at the Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club.

All the proceeds from the tournament go towards the McBride Foundation to fund education and research projects searching for a cure for juvenile arthritis.

Over 1.2 million Oklahomans suffer from the crippling effects of arthritis.

The tournament typically brings in $100,000.

Bill Teegins is NEWS 9's former Sports Director who died in the January 2001 plane crash that killed 10 members of OSU's basketball team.
