OKLAHOMA CITY – A Ponca City woman is back in prison and had her probation revoked after using marijuana.
Venitia Hess, 46, has been ordered to serve 11 months in prison after violating the terms of her probation.
Hess, a Native American, was indicted on February 8, 2007, for burglary and aiding and abetting the breaking and entering into a home of another Native American on Indian land in Kay County. Hess pled guilty in April 2007 and was sentenced to serve 30 months in prison, followed by a supervised release for three years. Hess was released from prison and began serving her supervised release on July 9, 2009.
While on probation, Hess tested positive for marijuana two times. She also admitted to her probation officer that she used marijuana on several occasions.
