Suspect Who Left Robbery in a Yellow Cab Arrested

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Police arrested one person and detained several others in connection to a robbery at Statewide Finance, 3636 N. Western Avenue, Monday afternoon.

Employees at the business told police they never saw a gun, but one of the robbers held his hand in his pocket during the robbery.

It is unclear if all the suspects entered the business during the robbery, but police said at least one of the suspects took the cash and left in a yellow cab.

The cab driver told authorities he let the suspect out near an apartment complex at 36th Street and Tulsa Avenue. Police arrested Tyrone Green, 33, at that location on two complaints of armed robbery.

More charges could be forwarded to the District Attorney before the investigation is complete
