TULSA, OK -- A confrontation between banned customers and club security ended in gunfire early Sunday morning at the Plaza Santa Cecilia, 21st and Garnett.

Security guard John Heeter said that at about 2:30 a.m., two customers who had been banned returned to the club.

"We had pulled a weapon off them before, and we told them to leave the property," he said.

After the men argued and refused to leave, Heeter said the security guards sprayed pepper spray into the men's vehicle.

The customers then drove to the entrance of the parking lot and stopped, apparently firing a large-caliber weapon back at the security guards.

Heeter said he heard a round whiz by his head, and a bullet struck the driver's side of a white Chevy Tahoe in the parking lot. Altogether, the security guards heard five to six shots.

No one was injured in the incident.

The two men, described as Hispanic, left in a blue Chevy 1500 series extended cab pickup, Heeter said.
