GARVIN COUNTY, OK -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 2.5 was recorded near Lindsay Sunday morning. The earthquake was recorded at 2:41 a.m. about 8 miles northeast of Lindsay and 9 miles south-southwest of Washington.
Researchers say earthquakes of 2.5 to 3.0 magnitude quakes are typically the smallest felt by humans.
