JACKTOWN, Oklahoma -- Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers are still  investigating a deadly accident that occurred Wednesday morning in Lincoln County.

Twenty-one-year-old Brittney Coker was pronounced dead at the scene after she was ejected from the vehicle.

Coker was in a 2001 Mazda Tribute with 19-year-old Crissy Carpenter, 18-year-old Colton Medlock, and 20-year-old Britton Snider-Jones who were all injured. Police have not yet said who was driving the vehicle. Investigators said the driver ran a stop sign and crashed into a semi truck on US 177 near 1060 Road.

Medlock and Snider-Jones were both transported to a hospital in critical condition. Carpenter was transported in stable condition. The semi truck driver was not seriously injured.

Mike Steward heard the crash from his home up the road and rushed to help.

"It's really sad. The way one little girl died on the scene. I can't imagine what it's like for her parents," Steward said.

Stewart said he could smell alcohol at the scene and saw beer cans all over the car.

"I don't know if the driver was drunk, but alcohol had a play in this deal. If so, it's a lesson in don't drink and drive and wear your seatbelt," Steward said.

Investigators have not released information on whether alcohol was a factor in the crash. No one involved in the crash was wearing a seatbelt.
