OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Oklahoma City, City Council approved plans for a new outlet shopping mall Tuesday.
The city council approved a revised agreement by a vote of seven to two for the proposed shopping center near I-40 and Council Road.
Horizon Group Properties planned to build the mall two years ago, but the economic downturn put plans on hold.
The new deal has the city providing an extra $1 million in street improvements
The mall could be open in 18 months.
