Republic Burger

Here's a great recipe to make a grilled hamburger something really special.

SERVINGS: 2 (1 serving = 1/2 of burger)

Ingredients:

1 each pretzel bun (buttered & toasted)

7 ounces ground beef (patty)

1 ounce caramelized onions

1 each fried egg

1 ounce gruyere cheese

1/4 ounce arugula

1 ounce bacon

lettuce and sliced pickles

Instructions:

1. Grill burger to desired temperature on flat top.

2. Heat caramelized onions and bacon together to make relish.

3. Fry egg over medium heat.

4. To assemble, place bottom bun on plate then arugula, burger, fried egg, bacon-onion relish, gruyere and top bun.

HINT: This burger is very large but great for (2) people to share
