OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City police detectives are investigating an attempted armed robbery of a motel in south Oklahoma City that occurred May 23.
Police said the suspect parked a vehicle north of the office entrance, walked in, asked to use the restroom and returned to the front counter to produce a demand note. He was armed with a knife.
The clerk immediately grabbed the phone and the suspect fled the scene.

The suspect's vehicle is described as a white four-door from the mid '90s.
