DELAWARE COUNTY -- A Vinita man was killed after losing control of his motorcycle on a Highway 85 curve two miles west of Bernice in Delaware County.
Brian R. Tippett, 38, died at about 11:25 p.m. Friday, according to a report by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
His motorcycle left the roadway to the left and came to rest in a ditch along the highway. The trooper's report lists the driver's condition as "apparently normal" and notes that he was not wearing a helmet.
