Garth Brooks, Troy Aikman Turn Out For OU Children's Hospital

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Two big name Oklahomans brought a new zone to the OU Children's Hospital. Garth Brooks and Troy Aikman were on hand Saturday to dedicate the new Children's Zone.

The area is an educational and therapeutic environment for children and their families built within the hospital.

"It doesn't matter what your name is, doesn't matter what color of your skin, doesn't matter how old or how young you are – this is the place if you are in need," said country music superstar Garth Brooks.

The zone has play areas for children and teens: an outdoor garden, parent library, kitchen area, theater and a Ronald McDonald family area.
