OKLAHOMA CITY – A man was arrested this morning after injuring a relative in an early morning shooting in northeast Oklahoma City, police said.

Police say the man who pulled the trigger is actually the victim. Officers said 29-year-old Oscar Blakely was attacking a relative with a computer monitor at a home in the 800 block of N.E. 69th Street early this morning. That's when the man shot Blakely in self-defense.

Blakely was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Police questioned the shooter then released him, calling him the victim in this case. His name has not been released.

When Blakely is released from the hospital he's expected to be charged with domestic abuse and assault with a dangerous weapon.
