Police Seek Public's Help Locating Assault Suspects

Oklahoma City Police Assaults unit is asking for the public's assistance identifying and locating two suspects.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City Police Assaults unit is asking for the public's assistance identifying and locating two suspects.

Surveillance video captured two black males at the Plaza Inn, 3200 South Prospect Avenue, on January 22. According to police the men are two of four suspects wanted for assaulting two security guards at the motel that night.

Security reportedly asked the men to leave after they created a disturbance. After being sprayed with mace, three of the suspects attacked one of the guards while the fourth suspect that attempted to run over one of the guards with his vehicle. He was driving a white Mazda 626. The guard then used his expandable baton to break out a window in the suspect's vehicle, police said.

According to police all four suspects then attacked both security officers. One of the suspects was able to take the security guard's baton, and strike him with it several times.

This security guard was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries sustained from the attack.
