OKLAHOMA CITY -- Former State Senator Jeff Rabon from Hugo was arrested on a public intoxication complaint in Oklahoma City. 

According to the police report, Rabon was staying at the Sleep Inn Motel, 5200 N. Classen, when he started kicking the control panel inside one of the motel elevators. 

Rabon frequently stays in the hotel but according to employees he was refusing to stay in his room, according to the report.

When police arrived Rabon was holding an empty can of beer and had "a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breathe," the report read.
