Police Searching for Suspects in Overnight Shooting, Robbery
OKLAHOMA CITY -- A store clerk was seriously injured after being shot during an armed robbery late Tuesday night.
Police say a clerk inside the Friendly Food store near the 2800 block of N. Classen Boulevard was shot when an armed robber open fire while attempting to rob the store.
The clerk was taken to an area hospital and is in serious condition. His name has not been released.
Police said they are searching for two black males who stole the clerk's car, which is a 2006 four door Honda Civic. Police said they recovered the car at N.W. 31st Street and Blackwelder Avenue.
The suspects, who were wearing hoodies, were able to get away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
